Q.

#asktheexpert my baby can sit without support but can't pull himself to sitting position. he is doing army crawling and stands with support. is there something to worry about

A. what you have described is totally normal and there is no need to worry regarding this. but if you feel that it it seems to be something different you can meet your doctor regarding this and the doctor will guide you. sitting without support and crawling in children may sometimes come after one year of age also. if the growth of the child is proper no need to worry. just take care of regular diet and baby massage which will help in strengthening the muscles needed for sitting and crawling. in some cases crawling may be absent in children and directly the dchild will begin to stand with support and later walk with support and then without support. take a medical check up done to confirm if there is need of any intervention.
