#asktheexpert My baby boy 's weight is 10.2 kg. He is 1 year 1month old. For the last 4 5 months his weight is between 10 and 10.2 . Not much gain. Is that ok. Even he is in normal weight. but comparatively his growth every month reduced. is it common?

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist4 years agoA. dear mum, weight of 10.2 kg is normal and healthy for 13 months old baby boy, do not worry. baby's weight at this age should be in the range of 7.9 kg to 12.3 kg. so, your baby's weight is in the normal range.
baby's weight gain can vary across months. if your baby is active, playful, achieving all growth milestones then it indicates good health.
