#AskTheExpert my baby boy is 6 week old , since a day his left eye is showing yellow color mucus and some time watery eye ,am using ofloxacin drops twice a day and cleaning the eye with warm water. what is the reason for eye discharge ? is it contagious? how much time it takes to go away?

ExpertDr. Swapnil SaxenaAyurvedic Physician4 years agoA. if he is having good reddish eyes with watery discharge along with sticky yellow discharge and it is suggestive of infection and proper examination is required to prescribe accordingly. . .
