#AskTheExpert my baby boy is 3 months old. his weight is 4.9 kg. birth weight was 2.47 kg. is he underweight? wht is ideal age?

Vaishali TanwarMom of a 8 yr 6 m old boy4 years agoA. Hi, Your baby weight is slightly underweight. At 3 months of age baby should weight around 5.5 kg. Baby should gain 150-200 gm of weight every week till 5 months of age and double their birth weight by 6 months of age.
