ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist4 years agoA. Dear mum, breastfeeding should be stopped gradually so as to make it less stressful for you and your baby. Start giving one additional meal during the day and reduce breastfeeding. Continue for a few days. Try to divert your child’s attention by reading out stories, singing a lullaby. The night time feeding should be the last feeding to be stopped.
