many times white spots can occur in children at multiple sites on body but does not require any treatment except moisturizing lotion application (any good brand) or simple coconut oil application. 
they will persist for few weeks and then will go away.

if the problem continues beyond two weeks and is increasing in size and intensity then you have to meet the doctor for evaluation.
some times it can be due to nutritional deficiency, skin sensitivity, allergy, fungal infection, worms infestation also for which your doctor will prescribez specific cream.
give plenty of water to drink.

hi dear, when is your baby got this white patches plz reply.. have you consulted with doctor also?
I am also facing similar issues with my 2 month old baby get got when he was 15-20 days old..

White patches could be due to dryness or a fungal infection so currently you can apply any good cream three or four times in the day and see if it starts becoming better and if not then check with your doctor sometimes it could be due to deficiency of calcium as well
