#asktheexpert my baby bit my nipple while breast feeding and the cut is not healing what should I apply

A. Rinse the breast after each feeding with water to reduce the risk of infection. Apply a cold pack to numb the injured area before nursing. Cold can help dull the pain. Rub a small amount of this Soframycin or nip care ointment on your nipples after every feeding.
