Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose hyas the first line treatment also this dose can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if fever is repeating. and you can also do cold sponging of the body if required

Manali K MehtaMom of a 9 yr 7 m old boy3 years agoA. hi parent she has fever keep her hydrated by giving her breast milk . you may use calpol 100 mg/ml pediatric. drops but please don't use it prior to five hours of first time use
