Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy4 years agoA. you have to give only demand feeding to the child that is whenever the child feels hungry you can give milk to the child and the child will take the milk according to the need and then will leave the milk. if the child is taking more milk you can offer milk in more quantity with intermittent burping . there is no need to to go for hourly basis as a less quantity basis
In COLIC pain you can give anti colic medicines like colicaid 0.5 ml to the child and this medicine can be given maximum three or four times per day but to prevent this problem kindly do regular burping for 15 to 20 minutes.
Do not keep the child back on the bed after one burping.
during the colic episode you ccan do stomach massage and limb cycling movements and if the child is more than 2 months of age you can give tummy time also

SanthoshiMom of a 8 yr 2 m old girl4 years agoA. Hello dear.. But still follw the feeding schedule feed baby every 2-3 hours during the day time. It's important to do this. And night hours feed every 4-5 hours. Night hours it's fine to leave baby sleep for a while because as food, sleep is also important. But don't wait for baby to cry just feed frequently
