This is very important for building the immunity also.
Encourage for green vegetables fruits dairy products all kinds of dal and other protein containing food items like soyabean eggs etc.
Some nutritional deficiencies can be a cause for less appetite like iron deficiency which is most common.
Supplements like iron supplements and multivitamin with lysine like syp zincovit CL can be given for 1-2 months to increase the appetite. v
Diet counselling gfis also very important .

It What completely depend on the growth rate health everything you know in terms of your child’s growth if you feel that your child is lagging behind in something then yes you can ask your doctor for that but if your child is going prop growing a properly there is no requirement
