#AskTheExpert My 4 years old daughter have cold.... but temperature is normal..... she have deep red lips past two days.... sometimes she have bleeding on her lips... what is the reason for that red bleeding lips???

A. Cold is a viral illness and symptoms could be sneezing, running nose, cough sore throat, nasal congestion and fever. Treatment consists of antihistamines antipyretics jjjianalgesics and decongestants . steam inhalation would be beneficial . Medicines like sinarest/wikoryl / Alex cold can be given in a proper dose according to the weight for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .

A. Hi home remedies are all good but it would take a longer time to recover. Babies cant bear for a long time. It's better to check with doctor once and you can treat with medicines and home remedies parallely, that will help on faster recovery for the baby.
