#AskTheExpert my 4 month baby poop after 3-4 days. Is it normal??

it is totally normal for small children less than 6 months of age not to pass stool for 10 days also.
it is also normal if they are passing stool more than 6 or 7 times per day.
if the consistency of the stool is Semi solid to solid there is no need to worry about the frequency as well as the colour of the stool.
also straining while passing urine and stool is normal

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl3 years agoA. yes it is .Baby may not motion daily with no any problem in this . Usually baby passes motion in 2 to 3 days or can take longer . If it's more than 7 days then can use glycerine suppository for this .
