#asktheexpert my 3 yrs old son had a fever therefore we had done the blood test. it was found that ESR level increases to 48. we had consulted to pediatrician and started the antibiotic. it's being 1 week we are giving him antibiotic. do we need to do the blood test again? how the ESR level increased?

A. Due to infection esr might be increased, if he has no any abnormal sign or symptoms, fever than not to worry about it. further you may talk time ur doctor. ok
