Q.

#asktheexpert my 3 months old baby is crying without any reason. Seems like gastric and we give Domstal baby drops and after that she stops crying. Is this ok to give Domstal? Is there any other safest medicine that we can give for gastric

A. your child is having colic which is causing such behaviour. colic is quite common in children before 6 months of age.x the usually start after 3 weeks of age. you can give drops gastica or colicaid to the child 0.5 ml if the child is crying for more than 15 to 20 minutes due to colic pain. limb cycling movements as well as tummy time will help. to prevent colic pain kindly do burping for 15 to 20 minutes after every feed and do not keep the child back on the bed after 1 burping because all the gas is not removed after one burping.

A. So when you know that the child is crying because of gas or stomach pain so that means the child is not crying because of any reason these are the most common reasons for a child to cry they usually with stomach pain or constipation so giving this medicine is fine occasionally you can give but if you would want to use something which is safer than you can go for Himalaya Bonnisan five drops one time maximum four times in the day you can use as per the lead
