#asktheexpert my 27week 4 days (715grams birth weight) preterm baby is diagnosed with stage 2 ROP.. she’s 35 weeks now and weigh 1350 grams Her laser is planned today.. Just want to know if she will need to wear glasses at toddler age? What are the chances of wearing glasses at toddler age?

Laser surgeries are quite common these days so I don’t think so it would be required for the child to wear glasses but since your child is too small whatever the situation maybe your doctors are going to give you guidance on that so just proceeded with what they have to advise you further on that
