#AskTheExpert my 2 yr son having fever above 100 since last 3 days initially it was continuous now intermittent ( for first 2 days needed pcm every 6-7 hrs now yesterday had one spike of fever above 100 ) no other symptoms like cough cold running nose gi upset whot should we do we were avoiding going to hospital as high COVID cases are there but now worried

If you taken temperature correct method with thermometer it is less than 100 degrees F it's normal . otherwise give syp paracetamol 250 MG 3 ml 6 hourly for 3 days If no improvement. nbv Consult your pediatrician for trying to find out the cause of fever and get some tests done as needed
