#asktheexpert My 2 months old son passing poop atleast 3 times a day in yellowish colour but it's in watery consistency... Is it normal or we need to consult our pediatrician? pls help us out....

Breastfed babies often have loose, watery stools due to the easily digestible nature of breast milk. However, if the stool is excessively watery, frothy, foul-smelling, or accompanied by dehydration signs (like dry mouth, reduced urination, or lethargy), it may indicate an infection or lactose intolerance. If your baby seems uncomfortable, has a fever, or the frequency suddenly increases, it's best to consult a pediatrician for reassurance.
