Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 6 yr old girl4 years agoA. gas trouble is common in newborns and is a cause of discomfort . Give tummy time to baby . Give only exclusive breastfeeding to baby . Burp baby for atleast 20 minutes on shoulder after each feeds . Massage baby tummy gently . Give drops gastica 1 ml 2 -3 times a day . Colic pain worsens at evening and night and baby cries at night and is unable to sleep due to pain . Give colic aid / drops meftal spas 0.5 ml at evening time . Breastfeeding reduces chances of colic pain . can be due to this

Most issues related to a baby not sleeping are caused by temporary things like illness, teething, developmental milestones or changes in routine — so the occasional sleep snafu likely isn't anything to worry about.
