#AskTheExpert my 2 and half month old baby has rash on her neck I think I may be due to cloth. what should I do ?????

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. In babies rashes in the neck area especially around the neck folds are the most common.
The reasons for infant neck rash range from prickly heat to skin infections like those caused by fungus.
Commonly neck rash disappear on its own.
-Dress up your baby cotton loosly fitted top.
-You can also try using cold compress on the affected region to soothe the skin inflammation.
-Maintain Good Skin Hygiene.
-You can also try massaging your baby with coconut oil twice a day.

Usually it will correct within one week apply calamine lotion twice daily keep babys surrounding clean and dust free
Apply coconut oil or olive oil twice daily
Wash area often with lukewarm water
Wash hands often
Stay hydrated healthy
Do tummy time and cycyling movement of legs regularly
