#asktheexpert my 15 months baby boy used to cry frequently awake and started crying while sleeping...is this a cause of concern...

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl3 years agoA. it can be due to some dreams. No need to worry for same as it is normal for babies at this time but if you feel then can consult a near by doctor for examination of baby and Medicine if any required after the examination .

Sleep problems are common in the second half of a baby's first year. Some babies may call out or cry in the middle of the night, then calm down when mom or dad enters the room. This is due to separation anxiety, a normal stage of development that happens during this time.
