POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy9 months agoA. At 11 months old, if your baby is sleeping for 6 hours or more at night, it’s normal for them to go through a longer stretch of sleep. In terms of feeding, at this age, babies usually require about 3 to 4 meals a day, along with breastfeeding or formula feeds.
During the day, you should offer 3 solid meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) with snacks in between, and continue breastfeeding or formula feeding 2 to 3 times. If your baby is sleeping for longer stretches at night, it’s not uncommon for them to drop the night feedings, but ensure they are still getting enough nutrition during the day.
If your baby is eating solids well, you can gradually reduce the number of nighttime feedings, but it’s important to ensure they are getting adequate nutrition during the day, especially from a mix of breast milk or formula, and solid foods.
If you have concerns about feeding or sleep patterns, it’s always a good idea to consult your pediatrician to ensure your baby is growing well and getting the right amount of nutrition.
