#AskTheExpert my 10 months baby doesn't respond to his name constitently especially while playing,while talking with other people. but he responds when he is free is it normal

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. its normal.See when baby has any new complain then better avoid any self medication. Show to a doctor for right and timely diagnosis and treatment. Thays a safe procedure.See it looks ok only.but if you doubt then for your satisfaction show to a doctor there as they can examine the patient and give even a better opinion in this case .

usually it is normal.
because babies at this stage of age become more mobile and curious for their surrounding.
so as such no need to worry
if a child doesn't make eye contact while talking or if there is any other abnormalities then you should consult your pediatrician.
