#asktheexpert My 1.3 years child is loosing weight and it seems he is having teething problem as he refuses to eat and wants to chew on almost anything he can get hold of except teethers.

yes during teething phase kids suffer from loss of appetite and they tend to reject food intake.
give whatever food your baby is liking to avoid any nutritional deficiencies.
this condition will subside after the eruption of teeth.

shilpi BhandariMom of 4 children4 years agoA. hello mom first of all you should make sure that your child is not having any kind of health issue like cold cough chest congestion stomach infection if there is nothing like that then loss of appetite can be due to the teething as well so you should keep on trying with different variety again and again
