A. dear Mum, until the completion of 6 months, you should exclusively breastfeed. that's the most healthy way to gain weight. after completion of 6 months, you can begin with foods like porridges (like rice, Ragi, wheat flour , moong dal and rice flour mix) , kheer. then dal-rice with vegetables, veg khichadi, soft mashed fruits, curd.
