It is recommended to introduce semi solid foods in baby's diet from 5-6 months as by then their immunity and digestive system develop for outside foods. You can start with lentil puree, mashed banana, apple, pear and carrot puree, ragi and sooji porridge, home made cerelac, mixed vegetable soup, etc. Start slow with 4-6 spoons per serving and twice a day.
