#asktheexpert .. Mam my baby boy is 39weeks old now. He is pre term baby delivered at 31weeks. I have observed from. past one week that he is frequently hungry. should I follow any specific quantity of feed on time basis or should I feed the baby as and when he is hungry? please advice

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy1 Year agoA. After this first month, research has shown us that babies will breastfeed anywhere from 4-13 times every 24 hours, but most babies still feed on average 10-11 feeds every day. Each mum and baby's breastfeeding pattern is different and this is perfectly normal.
