A. Your 3.7-year-old son's weight of 13.5 kg is slightly on the lower side but still within the acceptable range. The average weight for a child his age is 14–16 kg, but if he is active and healthy, it’s not a major concern. Managing Sugar Cravings & Healthier Alternatives Since he is too much into sweets, you can gradually shift him to natural, healthy alternatives instead of refined sugar. ✅ Increase Protein & Healthy Fats – Keeps him full and reduces sugar cravings. (Eggs, paneer, nuts, dal, ghee) ✅ Offer Natural Sweet Foods – Replace refined sugar with: Fruits (banana, apple, dates, mango, chikoo) Homemade desserts (date-sweetened ladoos, jaggery kheer, banana pancakes) ✅ Add Cinnamon & Cardamom – They naturally enhance sweetness in milk, porridge, or smoothies. ✅ Make Healthy Snacks – Instead of packaged sweets, try: Ragi or oats cookies Jaggery-sweetened poha or suji halwa Peanut butter on whole wheat toast ✅ Gradual Reduction – Reduce sugar intake slowly to avoid sudden resistance.
