#AskTheExpert Ma'am i hav 9 yr old boy..he has severe stomachache problem since 5-6 yrs..the reports r normal and the doc says its worm as well as acidity problem and he is taking medication of tht only.but he is still suffering stomachache

A. Stomach pain in children is a common complaint seen frequently. There could be many reasons for this .it can be functional or due to some pathology which needs to be ruled out. Common causes are constipation gaseous discomhyfort worm infestation gastritis gastroenteritis or some chronic infection . Syp cyclopam 5 ml can be given sos for stomach pain and consult your doctor for proper examintation to rule out the cause .

A. Hello mom It’s a very long time and in such case you should definitely consult with any other doctor and it is very important. Because at this early is the gastric issues can happen but not for such a long time. You should also try to make some changes in your babies diet plan
