As the first line of treatmbent you cban give steam inhalation which would be helpful .
Cough Syp should be given only after a proper evaltuation .

Give Ginger juice and honey mixture to the child twice a day that’s the best home remedy that you can go for medicines you love to consult your doctor because your child is still very small to advise you with any medicine also you can nebulise your child if you required
