there should not be spotting.. not even mild..
please consult your gynaecologist as soon as possible for proper examination and do all routine investigation required including ultrasound

No spotting is not normal when u are pregnant. This needs to be examined by the doctor. Consult your doctor for the same as she will guide you better in this situation after the proper evaluation. Take care
