#asktheexpert is it ok to add sugar or salt to a baby leass than 1 year old?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. yes gradually you can introduce sugar and salt in the food of the baby but initially you should add only small quantity because the kidney are immature for this and gradually you can increase

Shruti SuranaMom of a 12 yr 1 m old boy3 years agoA. hi dear mom...no sugar and salt till one year.....as excess of salt can affect babys kidneys.....so avoid giving it till baby is one year..even after baby is one year..give in moderation. use heat sensitive spoon from Babyhug to feed baby
