#AskTheExpert Is influvac tetra required to be taken. As per vaccination chart it was not in the list but doctor is telling to take.

flu vaccine also known as influenza vaccine is very important for decreasing the chances of viral infection by at least 60% in your child.
the first dosage is given at the end of 6 months and the second dosage at the end of 7 months and then every year till completion of 5 years of age.
previously it was an optional vaccine but now it is considered as an important vaccine for children.
