#asktheexpert is adding pinch of salt good for 6months old baby?

A. better to do not add, additional Salt will be a burden on the tiny kidneys and the kidney’s will not be able to function properly due to the excessive load. And babies get required amount of salt from regular diet n breast milk.

A. Hello dear parent! Salt and sugar shouldn’t be given before one year as it reduces food assimilation. Give your baby easily digestible homemade healthy diet and keep hydrated. Continue breastfeeding. Regularly massage your baby with Babyhug cold pressed coconut oil.
