you should ideally start brushing your kid's teeth as soon as the first milk teeth erupts..
use small head soft bristles age appropriate kids toothbrush along with rice grain size amount of kid's toothpaste twice a day

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl3 years agoA. Once Your child get even one teeth after that you should start brushing that is what at least the dentist say if your child has got it then you start brushing the teeth but try to maintain proper oral hygiene by brushing twice a day
