Q.

#AskTheExpert in how many days viral fever go . my child is having it from 4 days . after giving paracetamol it will go but again it will come in 6hrs

A. Fever is commonly seen in babies and mostly it's viral infection which is very common in children. But if fever is high grade and persisting or assosiated with specific symptoms than other causes should also be ruled out . Antipyretic like paracetamol or ibhiuprofen or mefenamic acid are usually given to reduce fever . Cold sponging with lukewarm water is also helpful . Doctor cconsultation should be done if symptoms like excessive irritability dullness loss of appetite less urine output is there .

A. It should be viral fever. You need tl give 'medicines evzry few hours. If it continues, I feel It's better to check with your doctor and follow their advise. That would be one of the best and safest option for your baby as of now.
