#AskTheExpert Im a mother of 42 days old baby. I have some constipation problem. Can i use cremaffin?

DR SHIWAJIRAO PATILGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Hello, your baby boy is 42 days old and if you are having a constipation then you should take cremaffin gel 20/30 ml after dinner and drinks plenty of water

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl4 years agoA. no you can't sue any such Medi cine it s normal for the baby to not pass stools daily as digestion can be different for everyone . If baby does not pass stool even upto 1 week it s not to worry. If more than 1 week and baby has discomfort can use glycerine suppository for relief. No syrup is given for this below 2 years

See exclusively breastfeeding your child I’m not going to advise you to take any medicine after consulting your doctor only because some medicines can have a side-effect as your child is feeding on to you it’s better to take an opinion from your doctor before you start it
