#AskTheExpert I pulled my sons nail and pus formed. it looks like a wound now, can I put something on it to help healing faster?

ExpertDr Bandana JoshiAyurvedic Physician4 years agoA. Sprinkle little neosporine powder on the area as it helps in drying the pus formed in the area and avoid keeping in contact with water and consult your doctor once

Hello,it's okay mistake can be done by anyone but as there is pus in the wound so my advice is don't cover it with any bandage and you can use betadine ointment on that wound but make sure you apply it when baby is sleeping ,so that baby doesn't put it in mouth and secondly don't wet that area ,if it doesn't get wet it will heal very quickly.
