#asktheexpert I have gestational diabetes and I am 25 week 4 days pregnent. I take 1g metformin twice a day and my gct test result is 172 in this week. so plz suggest me how I can control my diabetes. I have twins in my womb

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. start insulin. see more you can ask your own treating doctor. i am sure they will solve all your doubts and guide youyou have to do a few more tests and a scan after a local doctor advice for proper treatment

Hi See what I’m going to advise you to consult a nutritionist for a diet plan sugar can be really tricky and any point of time whether you are pregnant or not it’s better that you go ahead with proper diet plan suggested by a doctor so that you do not fail anywhere when it comes to dealing with your sugar
