#AskTheExpert I have contracted rashes around my nipple area and some other parts of the body. Doctor has prescribed Methylprednisone 4mg. Is it safe for my breastfed baby? Thank you.

A. Hi mom Yes this medicine is safe to take during breastfeeding. There is no problem in that. Also always tell ur doctor beforehand that u are breastfeeding mother so that the medicines are prescribed taking that into consideration. Take care and all the best
