#AskTheExpert I am in my 39week after internal scan am noticing brownish mucus discharge from past 2-3 days could you please confirm is it after how many days will labour pains will start?

A. It could be something called as Show and if you had a pelvic examination, it could also be because of that. The labor pains usually start within 48 hours, but still consult a doctor

A. When you have abdomen pain along with hardening of stomach and simultaneously back pain and vaginal pain - that is the indication that your labor pain has been started. And you should visit to your doctor is brown discharge is present you should once get proper examination
