#AskTheExpert i am currently at 37 weeks 6 days. my Edd is 13th July...recently on my follow-up visit and doppler scan, it was found that my AFI is 8-9, on the lower side. My doctor indicating may need to go with cesarean, can you please tell me if there is any chance to increase my AFI and for normal delivery?

A. plan induction. better to show to specialist always as they get the correct diagnosis. try to avoid self and extra medication that will only complicate this and create more damage to the child
