#AskTheExpert i am 33 weeks pregnant... I have polyhydramnios... does it cause preterm labour?

Yes there is a possibility of preterm delivery and most of the times the amniotic fluid will start leaking before it is anticipated.
So have a talk with your doctor

if it is mild then it can not cause early labor
you can give birth around 37 or 39 weeks of pregnancy in this case.
but please take necessary follow ups from your gynecologist as he or she can suggest you right ,he or she knows well about your health
