#asktheexpert how to deal with my child thumb chewing activity. kindly suggest some ideas to get rid from this problem.

A. this is very normal thing which should not be worried for but still it would be better to get a proper guidance by your doctor regarding any such kind of query sco a proper examination can be done just to rule out any other possibility ...

A. hi dear Babies have natural rooting and sucking reflexes, which can cause them to put their thumbs or fingers into their mouths — sometimes even before birth. Because thumb sucking makes babies feel secure, some babies might eventually develop a habit of thumb sucking when they're in need of soothing or going to sleep.
