#AskTheExpert how many times should we feed my 6 months old daily and what and all I should feed ?can I give water

Dear ma’am, initially you may give one semi solid feed and around two or three tablespoons to start with and based on the tolerance you can increase the quantity. Also give few teaspoons of water after each solid feed. Continue to encourage frequent breastfeeding as your milk still forms the major source of nourishment. Avoid salt, sugar and cow milk till one year.
