#AskTheExpert How important it is to burp a newborn after breastfeeding him { As in reflex ,he tends to vomit all milk } ?? what is the best way to burp a newborn ??

A. hi yes it is necessary to prevent gas and spiting problem. there are some burping techniques ,you can choose or try as per your comfort. 1 hold your child on your shoulder in upright position after each feeding for 10 to 15 minutes. 2.place your child on your lap on his or her stomach in sleeping position , gently Pat or rub his or her back.
