Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Gas in smaller babies is a very common and a Matter of concern most of the times for care giver.
its mostly because of immaturity of the gut . formula feed or early introduction of cows milk in babies may be aggravating factor. proper burping after each feedd is very important.
Enzyme preparations like aglozyme or vitazyme can be beneficial.Also colicaid drops can be given.

If You see that your child is crying inconsolably that is mostly due to stomach pain only and that this is stomach pain is most common thing see the stomach may become hard for your child and your child will keep crying even after taking a feed that is quite an indication of stomach pain
