Gum swelling and teeth eruption may cause irritation in the baby only vitamin D can be given on daily basis for easy teeth eruption .In homeopathy there is a medication known as teething trouble that can be given for this ; otherwise just massage over the gums.

When the babies are on teething they become cranky and irritated...They start to bite, put things in the mouth...
Give ur baby teethers like babyhug teethers that put pressure on gums and give relief to baby from pain and itching during teething.
