Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Cough in a child could be allergic , infective or due tor some other cause like GERD so it needs proper valuation before giving any medication . Primarily dyou can give steam inhalation to the child for the improvement before consulting your doctor.
