ExpertArchanaNutritionist4 years agoA. Hi , baby's weight gain mostly depends on birth weight hence on an average we can expect baby to gain about 500 gm to 1 kg in a month, double at 6 months and triple at the age of 1 year compared to birth weight. small deviation is absolutely fine.
if your baby is active, happy and eating properly, then nothing to worry.
kindly continue with exclusive breastfeeding for complete 6 months, it has all required nutrients for baby's growth and health.
feed on regular intervals after 2 hours or on demand, maintain good hygiene, avoid force feeding and overfeeding.
