#asktheexpert hi sir... I'm breastfeeding mother my baby has 4 months 23 days old... today doctor told me that she is suffering with lactose intolerance...and doctor said that don't give breastfeeding...but my baby not drink formula milk...what should I do...can I continue breastfeeding...if I take lactose rich foods in my diet..is it ok

A. Normally if the child is having lactose intolerance breastfeeding is also not advisable during that time and you have to go ahead with formula feeding so do not give it with a feeding bottle of the child is not try to give it with the help of a spoon and see your child accepted because currently it is only going to be benefiting and check with your doctor if you completely quit on the lactose products with things change for the child
